SANM 560 | Enemy Within

This is a SANM 560, an advanced collaboration class! Each 560 is unique, so it has a completely different format from the SCAD x Harbor X ETC collab class I participated in the previous quarter.
Enemy Within is a student production that's actually been going on for the past two quarters! It takes place over the entire school year, with each class roughly representing the production pipeline; fall quarter = pre-production, winter quarter = production, and spring quarter (the current one) = post-production.
Instead of working in smaller teams of five like my last 560, every student as a whole is contributing to the same project. This class is also working with a duplicate class at SCAD's Atlanta campus, and has been for the past two quarters.
It's a live action short film that includes heavy CGI (fully CG characters, environments, etc.) as well as lots of compositing (roto, keying, tracking, and CGI integration). It's a very compositing heavy class, so I'm excited to learn a lot and work on cool stuff! I'll go into more detail about the production in later blog posts, so keep an eye out for those!
